I've been working about the listening called Urban Planing (1150) this morning. I founded it very interesting because of three reasons:
- The subject: The present and the future in the transportation's habits of the very populated cities.
- The huge quantity of new vocabulary I could learn with it.
- And the possibility of thinking about my behaviour as acitizen of a big city as Madrid is. Making my transportation choice for my daily commute to my working place, which is at 40Km of distance from my home. My current choice is by car (35 minutes) because it takes me rather less than by bus (1 hour and 30 minutes). This option makes me possible going to your class, so I think it may be a good one.
Yeah! That was exactly the purpose of this listening, to work on it, learn new vocabulary and for you to think about your means of transportation.
Public trasnport is cheap and fast sometimes, but it is not good for everybody, is it?
