Waist, noun /weist/: the part around the middle of the body between the stocmach and the hips.
Thorn, noun / Ɵɔ:n /: a hard sharp point on the stem of some plants, e.g. roses.
Naive, adj /nai 'i:v/: without experience of the world, ready to believe what other people say.
Get rid of, idiom: to become free of somebody or something.
Show off, phrasal verb: try to impress people by being clever, or showing you are proud of
Infatuated, adj: madly and often foolishly in love.
Guilty, adj: responsible for doing something wrong.
Betray, verb /bi'trei/: be disloyal to a person or thing.
