Ellis Island
When reading chapter 2 from "American Cities" we learnt about how European immigrants entered the US. They all stopped in Ellis Island, especially between 1892 and 1954. Watch this video about the facilities they had at the time. Do you think they were enough? How would you feel?

We are lucky because were born HERE and NOW. We can imagine and build our future and dreams, but for all that people, Ellis was the only option! I, d like to believe that things have changed and improved...but..i,m not sure how much and for who!!

Do you really think that things have changed? I´d like to believe that too, but we have only remember the situation of all the inmigrants in Canary Islands and in Italy and so on.
